Jeffrey Epstein acquired a smaller island - Little St James - back in 1998, but subsequently obtained the bigger adjacent island in the year 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
These photos indicate he had created development schemes to transform the substantial island by erecting residences, an amphitheatre, an submerged workspace and a reservoir.
You can see the plan is Pillsbury Sound, a strait in the territory, indicated on the south-eastern section.
The architectural drawing is covered in notations in red and contains a legend identifying distinct areas of the land.
Alongside this are what seem to be several other site drawings and engineering blueprints, including designs for dock shelters.
